St. Genevieve Art Walk - Fourth Friday

On July 24, Ste Genevieve's art community will celebrate the first birthday of the monthly Fourth Friday Art Walk with a Route Du Vin Wine Stroll and tasting from 6 - 9 PM. The Route du Vin Wineries boast six members: Cave Vineyard, Charleville Vinyard, Chaumette Vinyards & Winery, Ste Genevieve Winery, Sand Creek Vinyard and Twin Oaks Vineyard & Winery. Joining these, Crown Valley Winery and Show-Me Shop will be offering a free wine tasting of regional wines in all the studios and galleries of the Art Walk. Sample the areas finest wines and browse the wonderful artworks at the same time!

Creative Expressions Art Fair - Carbondale Civic Center

From the Flipside: Local artisans will converge Saturday on Carbondale Civic Center for the first Creative Expressions Art Fair and Sale. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to the public. The event is sponsored by The Second Act, a free membership program for
those 50 and older through Southern Illinois Healthcare. "Our artist lineup includes painters, sculptors, jewelry artists and more," said program manager Mona Kerns.
Artists Joan Skiver-Levy, Thomas Horn, and Kathleen Shaffner will be on hand.

Ladies Night Out in Murphysboro

The Friends of Murphysboro present Ladies Night Out at the Murphysboro Event Center, to benefit the fund to create Southern Illinois first dog park in the city of Murphysboro.
